A dual-plane submuscular technique was used for this breast augmentation on a 43-year-old woman weighing 128 lbs. The implants are Sientra full/high profile, 415cc, placed through an inframammary incision. With the dual-plane approach, the upper portion of the implant sits beneath the pectoralis muscle while the lower pole has direct tissue contact, which allows the implant to follow the natural contour of the chest wall. The after photo shows the result at a D cup. You can see the upper-pole fullness that a full/high profile implant produces, along with a forward projection visible in the lateral view.
