This is an anchor-pattern mastopexy performed on a 23-year-old patient using a superior medial pedicle technique. The anchor incision runs around the areola, vertically down to the inframammary fold, and then along the fold itself, which allows the nipple-areola complex to be repositioned while excess skin is removed. The superior medial pedicle preserves blood supply and sensation to the nipple during that repositioning. Going in, she had markedly deflated breasts exacerbated from breast feeding, and wore a D cup to pickup and sustain any cleavage; after surgery, she now sits with a perky full C cup. The after photo is taken less than 2 months post-op, so the incision lines you're seeing are still in early healing and will continue to fade over the coming months.
