This is a cosmetic breast revision case for a patient in her mid-fifties. The before photo shows existing implants with visible capsular contracture scarring around the areolae and distorted nipple-areola positioning. Dr. Pathak performed a total capsulectomy, removing the scar tissue capsule that had formed around each implant, followed by implant exchange and a mastopexy with scar revision to reposition the nipple-areola complexes and address the prior incision lines. At twelve months post-op, the after photo shows the implants sitting with improved projection and the nipple-areola complexes repositioned higher on the breast mound, with the periareolar scars visibly matured. Revision cases at this level require planning around prior surgical changes to the tissue. Shown with the patient's written consent.
