Case Notes
Twelve months after surgery, you're looking at the result of a dual-plane submuscular breast augmentation performed on a patient in her mid-thirties. She started with a large B cup, but desired more cleavage and fullness but still a perky appearance. The after photo shows her with a frame fitting D cup. The implants are 355cc Moderate Plus highly cohesive silicone implants by Sientra, placed through an inframammary incision and positioned beneath the muscle using a dual-plane technique. That approach allows the upper pole of the implant to sit under the pectoralis muscle while the lower pole has more direct tissue coverage, which suits patients with this anatomy. The after photo, taken at the one-year mark, shows the implants have fully settled, creating natural-looking cleavage, balanced upper-pole fullness, and a perky, proportionate breast shape.
If you’re considering dual-plane breast augmentation schedule a consultation with Dr. Abraham Pathak to explore the implant size, profile, and surgical approach best suited to your anatomy and goals. Individual results vary.
